Acme Comics is a locally owned and operated, full service comic book store. Established in 1983, we are the oldest and largest comic book store in the Greensboro, High Point, and Winston Salem North Carolina region collectively known as The Triad.
As a full service comic book store we offer weekly new releases of comic books from major and small press publishers, a selection of over one hundred thousand back issues dating back to the 1980s, and a variety of vintage comic books from the 1940s through the 1970s.
In addition to new comic books, we carry a vast selection of paperback and hardcover collections as well as original content graphic novels. Not only material from Marvel Comics and DC Comics, we support a variety of publishers such as Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, IDW Publishing, Boom Studios, Dynamite Entertainment, Oni Press, and many more!
Our goal is to use all of our experience and resources to connect you with the best comic books and graphic novels available. We are ready and excited to get you into comic books! If what you are interested in has sold out, we are happy to re-order or even make a special order specifically for you.
Whether you’re making changes to the titles on your free subscription list, searching for that coveted vintage back issue, or just asking questions as a comics new-comer, our friendly, knowledgeable staff is at the ready to help you.
