We often hear from people over the years that they see the line, but have never participated, which means they don’t really know what the event is all about.
If you’ve never attended FCBD, we at either location would love to be your hosts!
Free Comic Book Day is an international event that stores can participate in where the publishers of comic books big and small create a special edition comic book intended to be given away to the public. Sometimes these are sample stories, preview stories, special reprints, but often these are ALL NEW STORIES that are different each year!

Every store does it differently, but the way ACME COMICS does it is we give attendees one of each comic book we had available at the time you came through our door!
Quantities available are limited! The earlier you arrive, the more comics you’ll get, and there is no such thing as getting here too early!
We have a kids bag and an everything bag (parents will decide who gets to see what) available, completely free. No purchase necessary.
