Stephen's So-Called Emo Life!
- In Search of Steve Ditko - a great documentary produced by Jonathan Ross (Turf) and BBC4 that I am way late to the party on. Terrific look at a career and man shrouded in myself featuring guys like Mark Millar and Alan Moore. So good that I bought the Amazing Spider-man Omnibus after viewing.
- John Carter of Mars - after seeing this cover on Tumblr, I was struck by an overwhelming urge to pick up the original novels. I did a little research online and found a version in the iTunes Book Store that was only .99 cents for the first five volumes! Then there's little investment when it comes to double-dipping on a physical copy later. I'm about halfway through A Princess of Mars and plan to polish it off tonight before going to see the movie tomorrow. Can't believe it's 100 years old.
