Acme E-Mail Update #13: Behold! Acme Comics...and this shall be your sign.

As most of you know by now, a good while ago our Acme Comics business sign was felled in the final moments of a freak hail storm that arose to mangle Irving Park.  The winds blew like nothing I've ever seen here in all my years.  One minute blowing horizontally to the left and then from out of nowhere it changed direction to the right which caused our beloved identification to come swinging down towards the sidewalk, hanging by a single bolt.  Then, the storm's business completed, the skies parted and the sun shone as though nothing had

Living Wednesday to Wednesday #22: Back on the Crisis Wagon

Acme First Look #41 for 8.20.08

Aside from a fewer number of Secret Invasion tie-ins, there is as much, if not more stuff to be excited about next week, including Geoff Johns' new DC-righting opus, Legion of Three Worlds!

If you haven't been in this week, then you probably don't know that in just a day and a half we sold out of Secret Invasion X-Men #1, Secret Invasion Inhumans #1, and Secret Invasion Thor #1. Lucky for you, I got a handful more of each title last night, but they're already moving, so get back to us as soon as possible!

Acme E-Mail Update #11: You wanna go ahead and embrace change, pal!

Note to educators!  We still have copies of All Star Superman and Marvel Heroes Adventures left from Free Comic Book

Living Wednesday to Wednesday #20: the Mark Morales Interview!

As promised, just in time for Secret Invasion #5, I bring you that last installment of the Acme post-HeroesCon interviews, book-ending the Laura Martin piece from last month, wrapping things up with Thor and Secret Invasion inker Mark Morales!

Acme First Look #40 for 8.13.08

Thanks to an iced coffee Matt brought me, a mug of hot chocolate from the Gate, and a refreshingly temperately temperatured morning spent in my hammock reading, I'm ready to take on anything! Hopefully you are too, cause not only is next week going to be jam-packed with Secret Invasion, Action Comics, X-Men goodness, this is also going to be the most packed First Look ever! Bonus features, folks, bonus features.
